Andrew Williamson MBA BA MAIDC MPRIA – Principal Consultant

Andrew has extensive experience in strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications, having worked in public health care, media, government, and consulting environments.

He conducted significant progressive brand and image changes for several of Victoria’s most prominent health services involving extensive consultation with community leaders, staff, volunteers, patients, and families.

Andrew developed extensive internal communications strategies, implemented staff recognition awards programs, modernised web and social media platforms, and increased positive media coverage of excellent patient care, innovation, and research breakthroughs.

His broad consulting work has included Media Training, Water Industry, the Recycling Industry, Green Buildings, Education, Housing Developments, Local Government, and Disability Organisations. 

After a career as a producer and manager at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, including two years as Station Manager of 774 ABC Radio Melbourne, Andrew joined Victoria’s public health sector.  Roles included Executive Director of Public Affairs at Monash Health, Director of Public Affairs at Austin Health and most recently, Executive Director of Public Affairs and Foundation at Northern Health.

Andrew also spent three years in government as Senior Ministerial Advisor and Chief of Staff in the health and education portfolios.
